My husband and I were recently married, and before we have children, we would like to go on one, maybe 2 nice, relaxing vacations, just the two of us. A beach would be nice, but it's not a "must have". You can only sit on a beach for so many days before you get bored. We really like adventure. We love the discovery channel. We think it would be neat to be around a rain forest or something (maybe Costa Rica?), like those tight rope things through the jungle look awesome. Or a safari would be extremely entertaining to us.
costa rica would be great maybe a cruise there's all kinds of stuff to do on the boat,and u also get to dock at differnt places and send the day on the island. jamaica. pick something great cause after u have kids your life will change as know it. it will be no mo
Hi,
I found that site;
Welcome to Safari Diving Lanzarote
Hello and welcome to the Safari Diving SL website, we hope you will enjoy browsing these pages.
With effect from 1st May 2005,Steve and Wendy Hicks became the proud owners of SAFARI DIVING SL.
After having visited the Island of Lanzarote many years ago and deciding then, that this was the best dive centre here, it became a dream come true when they actually bought the centre.
They returned many years bringing students and dive clubs to teach diving and to enjoy the delights Lanzarote has to offer.
The centre has the best location, as it is the only dive centre located directly on the beach – in a nice safe bay -so no long walks or bus rides to the dive sites in full kit!
Safari Diving SL has a professional and friendly team, who speak, English, Dutch, German and Spanish! The team have remained here over the years and are very popular with returning and new clients.
Steve and Wendy worked as the UK agents for Dea and Rene, who started the business from scratch over 18 years ago, into the thriving business it is now, with many clients returning year and after year.

We are staying at the Southern Palms Beach Hotel, has any one stayed there recently? Any feedback would be welcome. We would like to go on a 2/3 night safari, should we book before we go? We particularly fancy a hot air ballon safari, has anyone done this before?
Kenya is magnificent and you will enjoy your stay there. My personal favourites of the National Parks are Tsavo and Samburu, but because I was living in Kenya I was also privileged to have access to the "local" touch which included many sites (cultural and geographical) not typically seen by the "average" tourist. None-the-less, I do want to address one aspect of the most popular safaris in Kenya, Masai Mara, which some may appreciate and others may despise. Masai Mara is the most touristy of all Kenyan National Parks. Due to this, the animals are very much habituated to the presence of the tourist vans. This is great for photography (so long as the vans don't rush into the backdrop of your pictures), but it completely destroys any "romantic" or "natural" feelings that you may be expecting from an African Safari. If you, like myself, prefer working for a good picture and dealing with animals that are still "wild" including elephants that are known to attempt to chase down the tourist vehicles and big cats that still act discretely. Well then you would find Samburu and Tsavo a much more fulfilling experience. Another bonus about going to Samburu is that it has a lot of animals that are unique to the more northerly National parks including Grevy zebras, Gerenuk and Oryx, to name a few. Best case scenario would actually be to do at least two safaris if you wanted to be able to experience the majority of the Kenyan terrestrial mammals, and four if you also wanted to cover the primate species as well (possibly a ranch in Laikipia and then either Tanna River or Kakamega reserve). As for booking, I always did mine locally, but I was living there for three years, so I'm not familiar with booking externally. My experience with local bookings was that it was easy to do and extremely cheap, but due to my local connections I was fortunate and I'm not sure that this would be the same experience for everyone?
