I went in December and it was wonderful, very warm in Zambia. I booked my trip with an AAA travel office and got a great deal. Have a great time.

Africa has summer rain and is as humid beyond comfort in those months. The most beautiful Africa is in the early spring. The end of August heralds the new year in Africa. But you should chose a rewarding destination, there are many countries that would give you a magnificent camera trip. The most stable and scenically gorgeous of all is Namibia. Small country, but it has the most varied of vistas you can get in Africa. From desert to forest. From beaches to mountains. Picture perfect sunrises. Big game, big rivers, has it all. lol
