The one thing I don't really want is safari with millions of other tourists so somewhere a little less known would be better…
kenya, south africa and namibia… kenya u can go to masaai mara for a safari.. i went i loved it and then mombasa.. its the beach its nice as hell… south africa there r sooo many parks u can go to and u will love it there then u can try cape town or durban… namibia is a lot like south africa so u can try there as well or there is always the serengeti in tanzania
I lost my genitals on a lion safari in Africa, will the loin evolve after eating my junk?
you can fly to Nairobi, then do a one week safari from Nairobi to mombasa and have a week on the beach in Mombasa. Talk to your travel agent

You can go to South Africa, Kruger National Park they offer Safari then you can go to Cape Town "Mother City" for many beaches. Many people visit our country & say that it's got all they want & need. Do you know how many Celebrities buy houses in Cape Town because of the weather as well as the hospitality. Good luck for honeymoon!

Dude come to Kwa-Zulu Natal in South Africa, it has many smaller Game Reserves with great game viewing which sounds right up your alley. Many of these are less than an hour from the awesome coastline. Also you have Durban nearby, also with nice hotels and developed beachfronts.

Kenya, for sure!

I would recommend Kenya with it's wonderful people. South Africa is an option but the place is so riddled with violent crime you would be risking your life. The Norwich Union recently made South Africa it's most dangerous destination for visitors.

Came back from an excellent trip end of 2005 (SA, Zambia, Zimbabwe, Botswana) and can give some great recommendations for suppliers who can do the combination of smaller safaris you want and also the beach vacation (Seychelles, Maldives, Mauritius, S. Africa)
Contact me & I'll be glad to discuss.

The Paul Kruger national park is the largest ( i know i worked there ) …or the Pilansburge national park in mapumbalanger.
All i say is be careful many gangs rome even the parks.
Go with a good company and take in what they tell you.
If you get lost in the Kruger park you will die..!
I know this sound a bit "heavy" but iv seen to many bodies of people that thought cos the guide book says its ok to wander around.!!
As for a Beach Honeymoon try Durban .. Great beach ..Top food that is very cheep .. And the Surf is the best in the world.! Also the Shark nets are checked every day ( Unlike Cape Town )
Go for it … you will love it.
All the Best.

My brother in law went on safari to Kenya. Be careful as the more remote place you go it may not be as safe. Your guides may not make all the precautions for you.

Safari and Sun in Kenya
Was great, Safari went from Nairobi staying in two game lodges during the week opening your door in the morning to look out at Mount Kilimanjaro (not sure how that is spelt) game drives through Tsavo East, Tsavo West and Amboseli game reserves.
Second week flew to Mombasa and had a weeks sun and beach.
Was fantastic and we were well looked after by the reps etc. Have a great time.

I recommend Shamwari Lodge, South Africa. It is an hour or so outside of Port Elizabeth, which is known as South Africa's watersports capital.
You will be well looked after at Shamwari, which boasts Tiger Woods and John Travolta amongst its previous guests. There are magnificent game drives, wonderful meals and it is a secluded retreat where your privacy is respected.
Port Elizabeth is also close to the famous Addo Elephant park, while the Seaview Game Farm offers you the opportunity to see rare white lions.
Port Elizabeth has miles of beautiful beaches which are rarely crowded and several quality hotels. The Marine hotel, springs to mind. It is on Marine Drive, which runs along the coastal area.
You can go yachting, deep-sea fishing, scuba-diving, snorkelling, kite-surfing, paddle-ski, surf (J-Bay's world-renowned Super Tubes are 45 minutes away!), spear-fishing etc, etc. Of course, you can also just suntan on the pristine Blue Flag beaches, of which Port Elizabeth boasts two – Humewood and Sardinia Bay.
What about crime? Well, when last did you hear about terrorists blowing up people in South Africa? Is any place really 100% safe? With a bit of common sense, you'll be fine. The Eastern Cape doesn't experience anywhere near as much crime as the Gauteng (Johannesburg) area or the Western Cape (Cape Town) area.
Come see for yourself, what the Eastern Cape has to offer…
