I am going with my friends to the World Cup in South Africa this summer. We are planning to stay the week in Johannesburg and do a 2-day trip to Cape Town. Which area of the country is better for safaris?

Both these are cities, so the only safari you will encounter there is avoiding the crime! LOL

The unspoilt Pirang Forest Park, the Makasutu Culture Forest and the ancient burial grounds at Wassu are all options for getting away from the beach.

Flights to The Gambia arrive at Banjul airport which is situation 20 km from the main town. Transfer is usually by taxi at a cost of around 10 pounds for a single journey. The airport itself was once a World War II Allied airfield, but a new terminal, opened in 1997, brought modern amenities.
